Feel Your Heart Race all summer long!

Victory Junction hires nearly 70 summer employees to live at camp mid-May to mid-August. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and employment is contingent on references, criminal background check, and an extensive selection process. We begin screening interviews in February and try to have all staff contracted by April.

Camp work is demanding and requires long hours, curfews, limited time off and lack of privacy. While most staff come to camp to change the lives of children, we find ourselves changed as well. If you are willing to communicate, discover new talents, collaborate, and laugh and play with campers and peers, please apply.

• CABIN COUNSELORS - take care of the daily needs of five to eight campers. The job requires being actively involved in the supervision, guidance, and motivation of campers by building working relationships with kids and staff to ensure that a high standard of care is maintained. Cabin counselors are expected to sing, dance, and be silly; we play with kids! Applications may be downloaded or mailed to you.
• PROGRAM COUNSELORS - prepare, supervise, and facilitate one of the areas listed below. These staff members also are responsible for helping to implement evening programs such as campfires, carnivals and talent shows. Program staff members are expected to sing, dance, and be silly; we play with kids!

• UNIT LEADERS (HEAD COUNSELORS) - supervise 20 to 25 staff members as they ensure that 32 campers are safe, respected and loved. Minimum age 21. Camp experience and high level of organizational skills required.
• Unit Nurses - At Victory Junction, the number one concern is the safety of the children, from making sure they receive medications on time to ensuring every camper is accounted for at all times. In addition to the full-time Medical and Nursing Directors, there are pediatric specialists and nurses working in the camp’s fully-equipped medical center, the Goody’s Body Shop. Victory Junction currently has Summer (May 25- August 8) Unit Nurse positions available for RN’s with a minimum of one-year clinical experience (pediatric preferred).

  • Job Description: Unit Nurses must be registered nurses with a minimum of one- year clinical experience and meet the following qualifications:
    • Pediatric experience preferred
    • CPR certification required
    • PALS certification required prior to employment
    • Highly-motivated individual
    • Able to comply with a demanding schedule
    • Well organized
    • Able to work within a diverse environment
    • Leadership skills
    • Ability and desire to have fun and play with some of the best kids in the world!
