Collectively, those efforts have sent more than 500 deserving children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses to Victory Junction for a life-changing experience.

Victory Junction is a year-round medical facility, co-founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty, to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses with absolutely no cost passed on to the families. The camp operates solely through the support of generous donors to provide life-changing experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering.
“Victory Junction has been blessed by its partnership with The NASCAR Foundation,” said co-founder and chief executive officer Pattie Petty. “When we first began talking about building Victory Junction, it was the leaders and board members from what would become The NASCAR Foundation that came to the table first. In many ways, they are the foundation to our organization and gave us support from the ground up.

“We are honored to have The NASCAR Foundation join our Founders list and look forward to many more years of success. The campers we’ve seen thanks to their generosity have been impacted in more positive ways that we can measure. We are truly blessed and appreciative for all The NASCAR Foundation has done for Victory Junction.”

The largest fundraiser for The NASCAR Foundation, NASCAR Day is an annual celebration of the NASCAR community’s spirit of giving. It is an opportunity for fans, corporations, schools and organizations across the country to donate to The NASCAR Foundation to raise funds to help thousands of children live better lives.  The NASCAR Foundation has featured Kyle Petty and Victory Junction in its 2009 NASCAR Day commercial and a portion of proceeds raised through the campaign will benefit camp. A $5 donation truly can make a difference. For more information, please visit www.NASCAR.com/NASCARDay.
