Painted Hills Golf Course to Host Charity Tournament for Victory Junction

Kansas City, KS (June 25, 2009)— Painted Hills Golf Course will host the Inaugural
Victory Junction Kansas City Golf Tournament on June 30. Proceeds from the event will
go to Victory Junction’s Kansas City location, a year-round camping facility that
enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses
by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun, and
empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment. No child or family ever
pays to attend Victory Junction.
“We rely on the generosity of others to make the camp possible,” said Mike
Lepore, President of Victory Junction. “Thanks to Painted Hills, this event will
allow those who give to have a little fun in exchange.”
Among the event’s participants will be Victory Junction’s founder, NASCAR
legend Kyle Petty. The tournament will be a four-person scramble with prizes
being awarded to the first, second, and third place teams. The price to participate
is $75 per player, and includes both lunch and dinner.
