KEEPING THE DREAM ALIVE

Victory Junction began with a dream. The dreamer was Adam Petty. Tragically, Adam lost his life in a Nationwide Series practice session ten years ago…but he didn’t lose his dream. Today, Adam’s dream lives on in the hearts of the children that attend Victory Junction and in the hearts of those that make it possible by raising the funding needed to provide these special children with a once-in-a-lifetime camping experience.

Victory Junction is excited to announce a new fundraising program for 2010 that directly correlates with our 2010 theme “Keeping the Dream Alive,” and gives individuals just like YOU the opportunity to feel their hearts race. We’re asking individuals, corporations and organizations to form fundraising “Dream Teams,” participate in “The Dream Team Challenge” and send as many children to camp as possible! The average cost of sending one child to camp at Victory Junction is $2,500 and thanks to generous donors, no child or family incurs the cost of camp.

Registered Dream Teams will receive a “Dream Team Challenge Pack” containing information about Victory Junction, regular communication and assistance from a Victory Junction staff member and recognition on the Victory Junction website.

HOW THE DREAM TEAM CHALLENGE WORKS

• FORM A TEAM: Anyone is eligible and teams can be as large or small as you deem necessary. Teams should elect a “Crew Chief,” or captain, and choose a team name. The Crew Chief will serve as a main point of contact for Victory Junction staff members.
• BE CREATIVE: Teams should determine their own unique ways to raise funds, involve local communities, and raise awareness.
• REGISTER: Download the Dream Team Form and return it to Victory Junction via fax, email or mail.
• REVIEW YOUR DREAM TEAM PACK: Upon approval of your proposed fundraiser, the Crew Chief will receive a “Dream Team Pack,” complete with information about Victory Junction and a letter of approval.
• DONATE: Lead by example and kick-off your fundraising by making a strong personal pledge! Friends, family, and co-workers are more apt to support a cause that you are committed to yourself.
