Tribute Gifts- A tribute gift provides the opportunity to make a donation to celebrate a loved one, a special occasion—a birthday, anniversary, or a wedding, or to honor the spirit and courage of a child battling one of the 24 disease groups Victory Junction serves. When tribute gift is received, Victory Junction will promptly send a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation, but not revealing the amount of the donation.
- We received the following email from a family who chose to make a donation in honor of a loved one instead of giving holiday gifts.
Hi,
Michelle is my sister; she handled making the donation in Mom's name for a Christmas present from us. This donation is from my brother, Butch…Also, just to let you know this was a fantastic Christmas for our family. Mom was truly touched by the donation that we made in her honor and she said that this was one of the best presents she had ever gotten!! Thank you and please feel free to contact me with any other questions. Have a great day!

Campership - The Victory Junction experience costs about $2500 per child, but no child or family ever pays. The generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations makes the camp experience available. You can send a child to Victory Junction for a week and bring a smile to their face with your gift.
-
Morrisette Fan Walk - Whether making a footprint for yourself, recognizing a favorite friend, honoring a loved one or group, or purchasing a brick for a special occasion, the $100 donation will accelerate the dreams of Victory Junction’s campers! Help pave the way by purchasing a brick and engraving a special message that will be seen daily by visitors for years to come.

Planned Gifts - You can provide for Victory Junction in a variety of ways, including through your estate. There are many easy, planned-giving options from which you can choose.
- Make a planned gift by naming Victory Junction as a beneficiary in your Will or by naming Victory Junction as owner and beneficiary of your life insurance policy.
- Make a planned gift to Victory Junction and receive an income for life through the establishment of a charitable trust that names Victory Junction as a beneficiary.
- Your attorney can advise you of the various types of charitable trusts and the estate tax benefits of each, and assist you in setting up a planned gift that is tailored to your personal needs. You also may want to talk with your attorney or financial advisor about the tax benefits of naming Victory Junction as a beneficiary of your retirement plan.
- Bequests - One of the easiest ways to make a planned gift to Victory Junction is by leaving a bequest in your Will. There are several ways you can do this.
- Give a specific amount of money to Victory Junction or give a specified percentage of the residue of your estate to Victory Junction (the residue of your estate is that which is left over after all specific gifts have been made, whether charitable or non-charitable).
- Designate your gift for a specific purpose, such as the Endowment Fund, or for unrestricted use.
- The following simple language can be used to make your gift:
"I, [NAME], of [CITY, STATE, ZIP CODE] give, devise, and bequeath to Victory Junction Gang Camp, Inc. (Federal Tax ID # 56-2215292), or its successor, the sum of _________ Dollars ($_________) for its unrestricted use and purpose."
OR
"I, [NAME], of [CITY, STATE, ZIP CODE] give, devise, and bequeath ________ percent (________%) of my residuary estate to Victory Junction Gang Camp, Inc. (Federal Tax ID # 56-2215292), or its successor, for its unrestricted use and purpose."
A bequest may be included in the body of a will or as an amendment (codicil). Gifts made through a bequest typically provide an estate tax deduction. Please consult your attorney and/or financial advisor for specific information. For more information about giving options, please contact Nona Pryor, Database Manager at 336.495-2038

- Matching Gifts - Increase your donation with employer matching funds. Many employers will match your personal donation. Check with your company for more information on matching gift programs. Employer matching gifts also may be available to you if you are the spouse of an employee, a retired employee or the spouse/widow/widower of a retiree.
- Gifts of Stock - Your broker can assist in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to Victory Junction. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You also may save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.
Please inform Victory Junction’s Development Office of stock transfers so that we can properly acknowledge your gift and forward information regarding your tax deduction.
